Students Promote Global Culture in the UN Day Celebration 2022

Another successful celebration of the annual UN day was held at CSPR on November 4, 2022. Students paraded around the gym and waved flags in celebration. Every year level represented their assigned nationality and joined the program to support their candidates for the Mr. and Ms. United Nations 2022.

The candidates flaunted their costumes and featured their chosen countries’ culture and traditions in a series of segments. At the end of the program, representatives from the Grade-12 SMN bagged the crowns of the Mr. UN (Dave Nathaniel Dales) and Ms. UN (Misty Allen).

A poster making contest was also held surrounding the theme “Traditions of Peace and Nonviolence,” and the representatives from Grade-8 STV won the first prize.

UN Day is held every year not only to commemorate the creation of the United Nations, but to also to celebrate world heritage and our multicultural community and to understand how our global mindedness and global initiatives can make our world a better place.
