Petrinian Pride: Honoring Quiet Heroes

Siaton, Negros Oriental — Against the serene backdrop of Seven Hideaways in Siaton, the faculty and staff of Colegio de San Pedro – Recoletos came together for an unforgettable institutional excursion, a day that blended recreation, camaraderie, and recognition of exceptional service. The highlight of the gathering was the awarding of Special Faculty and Staff Awards, a tribute to Petrinian personnel who exemplify admirable work ethics, values, and character in their daily professional lives. Spearheading the ceremony was Rev. Judd Galinato, OAR, Assistant Principal for Finance, who delivered inspiring remarks underscoring the importance of dedication, collaboration, and silent leadership within the institution.

The following awards were presented to outstanding individuals:

Timely Treasure Award – Mr. Jovito Nuico III, honored for his consistency in meeting deadlines and delivering outputs with commendable reliability and efficiency.

Helping Hands Award – Ms. Kim Quitoy, acknowledged for her ever-ready willingness to assist colleagues and contribute beyond her duties.

Beacon of Punctuality Award – Ms. Carmela Mae Andrade, commended for consistently demonstrating respect for time and professionalism in all her engagements.

Ray of Sunshine Award – Mr. Mario Baruado, celebrated for his bright personality and ability to spread joy and motivation among his peers.

Zen Master Award – Mr. Aiko Bryan Babatugon, recognized for his calm, collected demeanor and composure even in high-pressure situations.

Paragon of Professionalism Award – Ms. Lay Keng Austero, admired for her integrity, competence, and exemplary work ethic.

Order and Elegance Award – Mr. Ariel Estrellado, lauded for his organizational skills and graceful presence in both work and presentation.
