It was more providential that the town of Valencia, Negros Oriental became a mission center under the unselfish dedication of the Augustinian Recollect missionaries.
The year 1904 saw the opening of the parochial school originally meant for children. The daring investment of time and talent of the Augustinian Recollect fathers in Christian education soon earned the trust of the populace.
